Tent Rocks

35° 39' 40.2768'' N, 106° 24' 43.1748'' W

Kasha-Katuwe (meaning "white cliffs" in the Pueblo language) was formed by the effects of erosion on the varied layers of volcanic sediment deposited in the area millions of years ago. Some of the Tent Rocks stand over 90 feet tall, with their harder caprocks still intact.

Design

The design features a digitally-altered photograph with an impressionist / oil painted style. The state outline is created with a series of high resolution digital brushstrokes and drips.
