Squantz Pond

41° 31' 14.3832'' N, 73° 28' 52.1904'' W

Named for Chief Squantz of the Schaghticoke tribe, Squantz Pond state park was established in 1926 near Danbury, Connecticut. The picturesque Connecticut autumn leaves provide a brilliantly colorful backdrop for the 270-acre pond.

The design features a digitally-altered photograph with an impressionist / oil painted style. The state outline is created with a series of high resolution digital brushstrokes and drips.
